Cleaning From Top to Bottom

Always remember to clean your house from top to bottom, never bottom to top! The reason for this is simple; when you vacuum and clean any part of your home, the dust dislodges, which means that it is moved around your house. Once the dust dislodges, it inevitably has to settle again later - more often than not in the lower parts of the house!

So, cleaning upstairs first means that the dust will settle downstairs, enabling you to clean it up once the upstairs is done and dusted. Not following this simple rule and cleaning downstairs first will more than likely result in you having to clean up twice downstairs once you've upstairs and the dust settles once again of the bottom floor! That you don't really want, as this can get extremely irritating and time consuming! Remember this easy-to-follow rule and make the most of your cleaning time!

The exact same rule applies when vacuuming the stairs; begin at the very top of the stairs so that the dust can be dislodged and settle to the bottom, therefore you can work your way down the stairs one by one keeping on top of the settling dust!
